Program Will Not Close

Have you ever had a program open that you want close? Have you clicked exit but it still stays open, freezes, and refuses to close? Sometimes the program could stay like this for a long time. If you want a solution that doesn't take as long as restarting the computer, you could open up Windows Task Manager.

Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete

There are 5 tab options at the top of the window under the menu bar.
You navigate to the "Processes" Tab to close a program. If, for example, Mozilla Firefox is the program you want to close, go to "Processes" then click on the "Image Name" button and go down to firefox.exe. Click on it. Then click "End Process". A warning window might pop up asking if you really wish to end this process. If you are sure, just click "yes".

Example:
ctrl+alt+delete>Processes>Image Name>firefox.exe>End Process
(>yes)
