Find & Download Movie Subtitles With Sublight

Sublight is a free windows application for searching and downloading movie subtitles.

After the default settings are set via the installation setup file, simply follow these steps to quickly find and download a suitable subtitle file.

Download

 Find a subtitle file

Choose a video file by clicking Choose...

Choose a video file

Open the file

Ensure the file was detected correctly and click the green check mark

The name will now appear under the Criteria for manual search section

3)
Select Search subtitle

It's often best to find one with lots of downloads - it usually means it's a good file.

Play/download the subtitle

1)
Right-click the preferred subtitle file for more options

You have the option to play the video with the selected subtitle to test if it works before you download.

The subtitle will download to the same directory as the movie.

2)
Use VLC Media Player to play the video with the downloaded subtitle file.
