Blocked Browser Causing No Internet Access

If you find that you cannot access the Internet, there may be a simple explanation. Sometimes your firewall can block your browser from the Internet, therefore, allowing you no access. If other programs work online (like updated antivirus software), then its most likely your browser that is being blocked off. To see if this is what is happening, you can:

1. Open your firewall settings.
2. See if your browser is on the "exceptions" list.

This list allows certain programs to be passed through the firewall and used.
If the browser is not checked then it is not on the exceptions list.

3. Simply check the box next to the browser to add is to the list and allow access through the firewall.

Feel free to comment if this doesn't work or the settings on your computer are not the same as listed here.
