Updating Drivers

Driver updates can become a hassle. It takes me forever to find my hardware's model and try to search for a driver that matches and will update my current one. With "DriverMax", updating and identifying drivers are simple. The program will find all your driver, display them, and show you which ones are updated and which ones need updating. The ones that are not updated will have a download link right next to it for you to update it. It could not be easier.

1. Download DriverMax
2. Follow the onscreen instructions.

According to the site it only works on Windows Vista, XP, and 2003.

Here is a picture tutorial if you like to see instructions this way:

Open DriverMax and hover your mouse over "Updates and Identification".

Choose "Check for driver updates" and allow your internet browser to open.

You can see that the green check mark means your driver is already up-to-date.

The red mark, though, means an update is available.

So click the button to download located on the right of the driver.

It will take you to another page with a download link. Choose one and then move on.

Yes, you want it to open with DriverMax.

The download will appear in the "Download and upload queue".

You then double click on the file and you will be presented with a screen like the bottom of this one:

Select your driver. (In this case, Realtek Fast Ethernet NIC)

Then click on "Install driver" on the left of the screen.

Choose "Next" to the next couple of screens until the installation actually starts.

Just let it finish and then your driver will be updated.
